Rambling Vans Covid Cancellation Policy




It’s tricky making plans at the moment. There is always the potential for everything to change at the last minute. We have a standard cancellation policy and have now added in terms in relation to COVID. We have outlined the extenuating circumstances that the COVID policy will apply to below.


Rambling Vans Covid 19 Cancellation Policy will allow you to cancel your booking for the following reasons only:

  • National lockdown
  • Local lockdowns in your home location (UK only)
  • Local lockdowns in Bristol (the pick-up location)
  • You or a member of your household test positive for covid
  • Track and trace instruct you to isolate. 


You will need to provide evidence to support the cancellation. We ask that you give us as much warning as possible so we can try and fill your dates with alternative hires.


You will not be covered by the Covid 19 Cancellation Policy and the Standard cancellation policy will apply for the following reasons

  • Local lockdown in the destination you intended to travel to (consider holidaying in another location)
  • Event cancelled or postponed (consider using hire dates for another purpose) 
  • You are travelling from outside of the UK 
  • If EU travel is restricted and you intended to go to Europe (please consider a holiday in the UK instead)


Covid 19 Cancellation policy

  • Full refund will be given if the cancellation is COVID related (see above)
  • No charge if you want to change your dates before your booking commences if the change is COVID related (see above)


Standard Cancellation policy

  • 28 days before booking – Full refund
  • 14-28 days before booking – Booking deposit is non-returnable
  • 14 days or less before booking – No refund (unless the dates can be filled with a hire of the same value) 


Please consider purchasing your own holiday insurance to cover any other unforeseen circumstances and always refer to the latest government guidelines before travel.
